Out In The Green River Desert

I want to think of this as 'scouting locations,' but I can't.
Been through this country innumerable times, but only during the "wrong time(s)" of the day, or when conditions were either less than 'impressive' or were such that if you stopped, you might not be able to easily extricate yourself. or that if you did stop, you might have insufficient food/water/gas/energy to make both the shot and extrication worth the effort. Regardless, even though the sight/site may not be the sort of photographic eye candy that generally tends to be preferred, it is what it was, and what it was was more than good enuf for me. Which means I likewise got out to pavement (and ultimately back home) without incident.
