Regina had a very specific idea in mind when she visited me recently for headshots. Her goal was to create something dramatic, gritty, and striking; she wanted a photo that would make it easy for casting directors to see her in darker roles.
I was, of course, excited to try her concept, and for this shot I broke all of my general headshot rules. Regina was lit with one light, camera left, and a white v flat camera right to tone down the shadows a bit.
