Ama Dablam

One of the most beautiful mountain in the Sagarmatha National Park. Ama Dablam means "Mother's Necklace"; the long ridges on each side like the arms of a mother (Ama) who is protecting her child with the hanging glacier thought of as the Dablam, the pendant worn by Sherpa women. The main Peak measuring 6,812m is supposedly one of the most technical peak for climbers and was once described by Edmund Hillary as being "unclimbable".
