Here it is, in all it's glory. The legendary Morel Mushroom. Thousands have tried to cultivate it, including Martha Stewart, but there is something about the character of this mushroom that refuses to be domesticated. It will grow wherever it damp pleases, and laughs at us as we lumber through the forest, thinking we know how to find it as we step over them without seeing them again and again.
