The Bahamian Ballerina

It's true that we are always learning as photographers. This image from my series created for the "Colors Of The Islands" Documentary is one of my highlights as a growing photographer, but it came with it's challenges! I have always preferred shooting during the early morning light, but the production time required that we capture the key shots closer to Noon. With cloudy weather rolling in, I was only given about 15 minutes to connect with the ballerina and capture this shot. The day turned into an incredible memory, as I learned it's possible to capture your vision in such little time. This image became one of my favorite photos from the day.
