Glacial rivers

Aldeyjarfoss is one of the more powerful waterfalls I've come across, especially for its size. All though being much bigger then I had anticipated, it still packed some incredible power, enough to cause a huge swell in the water. The muddy water flows from Vatnajökull glacier which is the third largest glacier in the world. There is something incredibly beautiful and ominous about seeing this from above, the golden brown water in contrast with the dark brown earth.
