Autumn Damsel

The weather is changing and fall is almost here. Today marked the first morning cold enough for dew in months and I managed to find this little Fork-Tailed Damselfly on a fallen leaf near a local pond. The first freeze isn't far away and will kill off the remaining Damselfly population. Then I will have to wait till next year for more Damselfly photography. This is a handheld 45 image stack, taken with flash on the Nikon Z9, I used a Godox Propac to cut down recycle times and the AK diffuser. I compiled this image in Helicon focus and further edited in photoshop
