Today I present a photo shot the other morning of Mount Adams up in Washington State from a pretty cool meadow that used to be a lake, but now just has a group of ponds at one end of it as the only remnants of the lake that once was there.. On a side note and a somewhat interesting fact about pond in my foreground is that it drops off to a depth of about 6ft right from the grass line and you can’t actually see the bottom as all the pools are dark black in color. I know the depth because years ago on my first visit to this meadow I decided to check the depth on at this pond with my tripod. With my tripod legs fully extended it submerged all the way to the very bottom on the ballhead before hitting the bottom of the pond. Anyways, Have a great day everyone and thanks for looking.
