Golden door

On our route through Namibia we could not miss a visit to the ghost town of Kolmanskop, a small abandoned village next to a diamond mine which was eaten by the desert and the dunes have been trapping it little by little.

It is very exciting to discover small corners, especially at dawn when you find yourself in absolute solitude.

On this occasion I went at dawn, but in that area there are many clouds and when the sun decided to show up I did not like the lighting of this place, we returned in the afternoon and bingo, for a long time the room at the back was illuminated with the door buried in the sand creating a perfect picture.
