NIKE LUKA 1

Table Top shoot with Nike Luka 1s. The goal of this series was to use hard light to emphasize the texture and surface quality of every surface. Each shot started out with 1 hard light, which is the source you see lighting the paper surface. I then added additional lights until the shoes felt three dimensional and every detail was visible. I also shot through a piece of glass to compliment the angles of the hard key light and also to strengthen the composition. This was a fun one and it's really cool just to shoot and play around. There are so many great Photographers out there and there are a thousand ways to shoot shoes but I hope you enjoy this series. Key light was a vivitar 285 and supplemental lights included gridded Einstein's and a Speedo Zoom Spot. Shot on Phase One XF with 1q350 and the 120 macro blue ring.
