This was shot many years ago (2006) at the end of May in Copper Basin in Central Idaho. Copper Basin is a high glacial valley with lots of remnants of a glacier eons ago. It is nearly 8000 feet on the valley floor and the surrounding peaks range from 9000 to 11,000 feet. It is the headwaters of the Big Lost River.
