I was in Essen and it was late, around midnight, and I'm driving back to my hotel. The streets are just about deserted and I'm stopped at a red-light. Then, just before the light changed, a Candy Apple red 57 Chevy hot rod pulled up next to me. Guy looks over at me like he wants to race but no way I'm doing that. Imagine an American charged with drag racing in Essen!. So the light changes and he's... gone! Cool car!
You should have been driving a Porsche 911 or 956 turbo super charged , that would have been a good challenge...there is a huge market for American classic cars here in Germany for some it has become a very profitable job to travel through the USA and search for barn finds even junk yards are considered gold mines.They ship these back to Germany for full restoration...
