The XM-800 was a mid-century experimental concept car which was made entirely of fiberglass and had many forward thinking features.
The XM never made it into production (it was considered) but did make it around the 1954 car show circuit.
Before the XM-800 faded into automotive history it did have a role in the 1954 comedy movie "Woman's World."
Here 70 years later the XM-800 still captures the imagination and brings back memories of when "land yachts" were the dominate automotive style.
