Still Life is another genre I've recently dived into.
I think I love the construction of the composition and the feeling I get when it clicks.
Using Grandma's baking utensils to frame her cook book, adding in her Wedding photos , gives it a storybook feel.
Again, my love of B&W took over this shoot.
I did a version in Sepia however this one felt better.
Light came from a window in from of me. I chose not to take out the shadows or use a fill light.
Handheld my Nikon.
