If Macro is new to me then Food Photography is way outside my wheelhouse.

My backgrounds will never be plain. I see the background as, not a distraction from the subject, yet more a supporting character.
Lighting comes from many kitchen windows, handheld my Nikon, pushed the tarts around until I had a composition that "felt" right.
