Zoo Atlanta is currently home to one of the largest populations of gorillas in North America. (Credit www.zooatlanta.org/animal/western-lowland-gorilla/)
There was a lot of activity in their habitat when we visited. This particular gorilla though appeared ready for their photoshoot and gave several poses which I was able to capture. Here is the pondering look of a fascinated ape, perhaps they wanted to borrow my camera and take my picture?!
Be sure to zoom into these pictures and look into their eyes. I did decide to not crop all the way to just the faces for a more environmental scene.
