ICM joy

On a short trip to Japan for work, I embarked on a side trip to Nagano Prefecture, hoping to get some fog at an interesting spot in the mountains.
Eventually after a few hours of driving and a longer hike than anticipated (road is closed to cars in winter) I reached my spot. No fog, no snow on the trees, I captured a few images to plan for a future trip. Then on the hike back to my car, I saw those interesting trees on the side of the road and decided to practice with ICM, a technique that I enjoy but had not played with in a while. This is the image I enjoyed the most.
Even though I did not get the shots I had planned to get, it was a nice adventure and I captured something more unique, which is always what I tend to go for.
