Victory Column

The Victory Column on the Großer Stern in the Großer Tiergarten is one of Germany's most important national monuments and one of Berlin's most important sights. Erected between 1864 and 1873 by Heinrich Strack on Königsplatz to commemorate the Wars of Unification, it was moved to its current location between 1938 and 1939. The Victoria Coronation by Friedrich Drake is popularly known in Berlin as the “Goldelse”.

Herbert, very dramatic!

I agree with you, very dramatic. Thank you very much, Paul, for looking at my picture.
Greetings Herbert

The sky looks a little bit disconnected as in too much editing, but other than that - fine drama!

I inserted the sky into the picture with the Victory Column. The sky was hardly edited. I enhanced and brightened the colors a little (with the Viveza 2 filter from the Nikfiltercollection) and made the whole sky a little more matte. I would like to call you by your name, but I assume the name John Doe is not real (that's how unknown dead people are called in American criminalistics). I would like to thank you for your comment and for thinking about my picture.
Greeting Herbert

I have been there many times, day and night but have never seen it like this before...unique yet very rich in color saturation...may I add positive critique...I think in B&W it would look more authentic...
