Red-crested Cardinal - Oahu - Hawaii

While on our first trip to Hawaii, I took a lot of images. This one of a Red-crested Cardinal. I had never seen this striking-looking bird before this trip. We did see them all over Oahu, they were pretty accustom to people and I was able to get very close, especially to this one.
I also found out that they are in the Tanager Family and not actually in the Cardinal Family, although these are considered sister families. They are a South American bird found in Brazil and not native to Hawaii.
