While on the Barker Dam Trail hike, we came across many yuccas in bloom, I choose to capture this one as behind it is the tallest peak in Southern California, San Gorgonio - AKA Old Greyback. It is in the San Bernardino Mountains with an elevation of 11,503 feet (3506 meters). (credit Wikipedia)
This hike is an enjoyable hike especially in Spring when there is plenty of water at the dam, but there is always plenty of beauty to see all around.
