My wife and I recently escaped for a weekend in San Francisco with one clear goal: spending time behind the camera, chasing light and moments. I’m excited to share a series of images from the trip here on Fstoppers.
We arrived on a Friday afternoon and checked into a downtown hotel. After settling in, we headed out to wander the streets and see what the late-day light had to offer. With the sun sinking in the western sky, long shadows began stretching across the city—setting the tone for the next few images.
Here, the facade of Pier One is half bathed in light and half in shadow, with the nearby streetlamp adding a quiet counterbalance.
