Water polo is an under-appreciated sport. It's a bit like playing American football in four feet of jello. The athlete in this image was unanimously voted Missouri's 2015 offensive player of the year.
Lighting was via a speedlite in a 2'x2' soft box at water's edge, about eight feet to camera left. Majority of editing was done in Lightroom. And this was my first go at frequency separation, performed in CS4.
