Sometimes B&W is Better

On location, in need of a clean background, and finding none, I placed the scrim portion of my 5-in-1 reflector immediately behind the subject and blew it out to white with a speedlite. A second speedlite in a small softbox to camera-right provided directional light. I'm happy with the result -- this high school senior's stoic expression and strong facial features made for a solid black and white head shot despite less-than-ideal shooting conditions.
