How to Make Yourself Look Better on Zoom Calls

If you've ever looked at your face on a Zoom call and wondered why you look so bad, you're not alone. Here, we look at how to add color corrections and pop to your face so you look so much better on Zoom, Google Hangouts, Skype, and more.

When the pandemic first started and all my classes went online, I thought it was wonderful. I could stay at home, dress casually, and not have to worry so much about my appearance. That illusion was soon busted when I saw how horrible Zoom made me look. And it wasn't just Zoom, it was Microsoft Teams and others as well. You might think that's a little vain, but let's face it, we all want to look our best, especially when we're talking to clients or engaging in important meetings. Unfortunately, online meeting software hasn't been too kind with how it renders our faces. Finally, we can do something about it.

And that brings us to this great video by Jesus Ramirez, from The Photoshop Training Channel, in which he walks you through all the necessary steps to improving how you look during online video calls. The great thing about this video is that it applies to lots of different online chat software. You do need to use Photoshop, as well as some other free software, but Ramirez walks you through the entire process and it's very easy. Once you've created your filter, you can apply it instantly. Give the video a look and let me know your thoughts.

Not seen the video but why use PS when so often all you need to do is employ better lighting?
