Joey Wright is a distinguished Miami-based swimsuit photographer. As a South Florida native, the beach inevitably became his natural habitat and day-to-day work environment. Joey was recognized by Westcott Lighting in 2010 when they chose him as one of their Westcott Top Pros and has made several guest appearances on Photoshop User TV and D-Town TV. He has been featured on,, Scott Kelby's Photoshop Insider Blog, 'Light It' Digital Magazine, Nik Radio, Photo Biz Xposed, Tether Talk and The New York Times. Hey Joey, it was great meeting you in the Bahamas. Keep up the good work!

Joey... love your work! Do you ever plan on making a tutorial video from start to finish? Something like Mike Kelleys "Where Art Meets Architecture". Your photos have such a great style and feel to them and I would love to understand the process you go through to get there. Keep up the stellar work!

Nice work Joey.

definitely an inspiration for me! question: before you were pro did you ever shoot at a hotel pool. do you just ask the management for permission? lol

When it's just myself and the model, I usually try to work discreetly and if someone asks, I tell them I'm shooting for fun. Once you decide to get a crew and special equipment involved, it's always best to talk to the hotel first and expect to pay a location fee.
