The Fujifilm X100 series of mirrorless cameras has long been popular for both its image quality and for the shooting experience it provides. If you have never used one and are curious about what it is like, check out this excellent video review that discusses just why it is such a fun camera to work with.
Coming to you from YCImaging, this great video review talks about the joy of using the Fujifilm X100V. Now in its fifth iteration, the X100 series has grown from quirky and fun camera to serious photographic tool without losing that experience that endeared it to so many users. I had the opportunity to spend some time with the camera last year, and I was a big fan of it (you can read about my experience here). Fujifilm put a lot of work into making the camera speedier and improving the built-in lens' sharpness, and it has turned the camera into quite the fun and impressive powerhouse. I normally do not care for fixed prime lens cameras simply because they do not align with my style, but the X100V is just so much fun that I can't resist shooting with it. Check out the video above for the full rundown.
This really is my favorite camera to shoot day to day. It doesnt have the focusing or low light performance of my Sony's but for hiking and day to day stuff, its just fun and easy to shoot. The quality is there, its a fantastic little camera.
I still have my X100T which I bought new when it first was released. A great camera indeed.
Glad to see this camera getting more praise... it's my favorite digital camera of all time and often my primary shooter for editorial gigs. It is very unobtrusive and regularly gets me shots that other cameras would have been too intrusive to capture. Fujifilm: How about a GFX100 with IBIS pretty please...???
