A Look at the Impressive Fujifilm GFX 100S Medium Format Mirrorless Camera

Fuji's medium format mirrorless line has rewritten the market, bringing its price range to the point that it competes with upper-end full frame options and offering photographers an entirely new format to choose without breaking the bank. The latest in the series is the GFX 100S, and this great video review discusses the camera and the sort of image quality you can expect from it.

Coming to you from Maarten Heilbron, this excellent video review takes a look at the Fujifilm GFX 100S medium format mirrorless camera. The GFX 100 was extremely impressive when it came out, putting a top-level 102-megapixel medium format sensor in a body that brought with it a lot of more advanced features not typically seen in medium format cameras, all for a price under $10,000. On the other hand, the 50-megapixel models sit firmly in the same price range as full frame cameras, rewriting the relationship between full frame and medium format. But the GFX 100S is perhaps the most impressive of all, coming in at $5,999, while still bringing almost all of the capabilities of the GFX 100. It is quite exciting to see Fuji offering such competitively priced options. Check out the video above for Heilbron's full thoughts on the camera.
