This allows you to get a deep depth of field while still using a wide aperture to maintain a fast shutter speed and/or low ISO. Or, in the other direction, you can create the popular "miniature" photos, which make real-world scenes look as if they are tiny scenes comprised of toys. Unfortunately, with the very low price of this lens, you will also see some performance issues, but if you want to experience with the tilt effect, it will allow you to do so quite affordably.
