A Review of the Samyang AF 35-150mm f/2-2.8 Lens

With a cost of just $1,299, the Samyang AF 35-150mm f/2-2.8 offers an incredible capable and versatile range of capabilities, at least on paper. Can its performance and image quality match those impressive specs in real-world usage? This great video review takes a look at what you can expect from the lens.

Coming to you from Taylor Jackson, this excellent video review takes a look at the Samyang AF 35-150mm f/2-2.8 lens. With a focal length range that covers many of the most commonly used options in tandem with an especially wide set of maximum apertures, this is the sort of lens that could potentially live on your camera and replace a bag of three or four other options you used to carry, and at $1,299, it can do so for a much more affordable price than all those options would cost together. It also comes with support for Sony's more advanced autofocus features, nine diaphragm blades for especially smooth bokeh, three custom mode switches, and a weather-sealed design for working in all conditions. Certainly, it is a rather imposing lens, but when you consider what it is potentially replacing in your bag, that extra size and weight might be worth it. Check out the video above for Jackson's full thoughts on the lens.

Very little info about the lens other than the fact that 35-150 is a useful zoom range.
