Shooting Macro Photography With the Nikon NIKKOR Z MC 105mm f/2.8 VR S Macro Lens

The beautiful thing about macro photography is that you do not have to travel far to find suitable subjects — hardly anywhere at all, in fact. This great video follows a photographer on a trip out with the Nikon NIKKOR Z MC 105mm f/2.8 VR S Macro lens.

Coming to you from Morten Hilmer, this awesome video follows him as he takes the Nikon NIKKOR Z MC 105mm f/2.8 VR S Macro lens for a shoot. The thing I have always loved about macro photography is that it shows just how beautiful even seemingly mundane things around us are. And it also a fantastic genre to simply enjoy on your own time, because it really does not require you to travel any sort of significant distance; in fact, you can usually do it right in your yard or even around the house. Beyond portraits, a macro lens also frequently doubles as a portrait lens, with its short telephoto focal length and sharp rendering making it ideal for photographing people. Check out the video above to see Hilmer in action.

I suppose It will not be any different from shoting with my 2.8 105 micro
nikkor on my DSLR. It's a great lens.
I think the mirrorless hype is just that, a hype, Just because there is no mirror makes it not very different from having one.

Wrong opinion, The Z mount is far better at collecting light, and sharper at All the corners, and colors are better also.

The mount doesn't collect light, the lens does, and although the zmount is wider, the glass in the Z 2,8 205 won't be wider than the glass in the F 2,8 105.
Possibly that a very bright tele or a special wideangle lens profits from the blogger mount, obvious for most lenses it wil make little difference
