Should You Get a MacBook Air or iPad Pro?

A few years ago, asking whether one should get a laptop or a tablet for professional work would be a ludicrous question. However, with options like external display support and the same chip used in MacBooks, the iPad Pro is an intriguing option and in some ways, it is even a better one. So, which is right for you, the MacBook Air or the iPad Pro? This great video will help you answer that question.

Coming to you from 9 to 5 Mac, this helpful video will show you how to choose between the iPad Pro and the MacBook Air. While the new MacBook Air is quite a nice machine and we all know the benefits and workflow of a dedicated computer, if you have not done serious work on a tablet before, it is worth considering one. Software for the iPad has come quite a long way, and with the Apple Pencil and its beautiful screen, you can edit photos like you would on a graphics tablet, which is a great way to work. I've had my iPad Pro for about five years now, and it spends more time in my bag than my laptop. Check out the video above for the full rundown.

Can't calibrate an iPad screen (yet). Easily not an option for photographers or those who do visual-based digital work.

I find the iPad Pro useless for creating. It is great for consumption, however.
