What Can You Do With the Strange Laowa 24mm T14 2x PeriProbe Lens?

The Venus Optics Laowa 24mm f/14 Probe lens captured the photography world's attention by being one of the most unique lenses we have ever seen and allowing photographers and filmmakers to get shots that simply would not be possible otherwise. The new Laowa 24mm T14 2x PeriProbe ups the ante over the original, and this neat video takes a look at what you can do with it.

Coming to you from Kai W, this fun video takes a look at the new Venus Optics Laowa 24mm T14 2x PeriProbe lens. The PeriProbe maintains the overall concept of the original model but adds some new features that make it all the more capable, most notable being its 90-degree periscope. That feature is coupled with 2x maximum magnification for 2 cm minimum focusing distance, a long, waterproof barrel for shooting underwater without submerging your camera, built-in LED ring light, 360-degree rotation capabilities, and more. Altogether, it looks like Venus Optics put a lot of thought into not only creating a lens that inspires creativity, they also did a great job of building it in a way that allows you to use it in a variety of those situations without risking damage. Check out the video above for the full rundown.
