10 Mistakes This Full Time YouTuber Made That You Can Avoid

It is the dream of many to become a full-time YouTuber or content creator, particularly in photography. It is, however, an arduous pursuit with a low success rate. This full-time YouTuber goes through his top 10 mistakes and how you can avoid them.

If you ask most successful people in a given field for advice, they will credit a decent portion to some sort of mentor. If you read books on business or entrepreneurship, this is a common thread and for good reason: a mentor can give you direction and advice from experience that you otherwise would have to hope to find organically. This will take a lot of time and likely a lot of pain.

One of the greatest benefits to come out of social media, to my eyes at least, is the advent of the mini-mentor. That is, you will almost always be able to find somebody who is more experienced and successful than you are at any given pursuit, and if you're lucky, they will share advice and mistakes in their videos. This can make the world of difference to your career and drive you forward faster than you would have been able to otherwise. Though, it is, of course, no substitute for a real mentor.

In this video, Cody Wanner talks about his top 10 mistakes during his time as a full-time YouTuber. If you're interested in working on that platform as a career, this is well worth a watch!
