It's an interesting concept, but if you're far enough from civilization to have to rely solely on the solar cells, you're SOL. Hopefully in the next few years solar cells will finally become practical. Practical remote renewable energy will revolutionize multiple fields, including this one.

You can save a lot of money if you just buy their solar panels and use them with Anker battery packs. Anker are just as good at a fraction of the cost.
