Not that it's not still a great deal, but I wonder where they came up with the $3,099.00 price. It appears you can buy the latest 2.9GHz MBP from Apple for $2799.00. Or am I missing something?

$2359 on mac website, refurb with full warranty.
In Canada the same MacBook is still $3,700 CDN. ALIENWARE 17 would be my choice. Very similar specs on a 17" for $2000 CDN.
You could get an ASUS ROG laptop for about $500 cheaper ( $1500 cheaper pre discount) that is just as powerful if not more powerful. Then you can take that extra $1500 and buy a really nice lens or 2... or just save it. If you are invested in the apple ecosystem then I guess you are just stuck :/ if you like it then hey cool for you. I just don't like seeing people pay more for less.

Since this deal sucks, anyone got any bomb ass blueberry pancake recipes?
Banana Blueberry Pancakes:
3 Large Ripe Bananas
4 large eggs
1 TSP Vanilla
1/2 TSP Cinnamon
1/4 TSP Baking Powder
Mash bananas to where it's liquid with a little bit of chunks. Add in other ingredients and whisk until you have a nice base. Butter a frying pan and pour in batter into medallions. Add blueberries once batter is poured in frying pan. Use honey and add any other berries you want as toppings. Enjoy!
Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn that sounds good! thanks!

I love MacOS but man have they gone up in pprice and down in performance during the last few years. I might go the Hackintosh route for my next machine and keep my 2015 Macbook Pro as a travel and tethering machine.
Lmao when you have to list a 3.5mm headphone jack as a feature XD
