One thing I would definitely recommend any beginner explore as soon as possible is shooting from different heights than eye level. Simply shooting from down low or high up can instantly make your photos more interesting simply because we are so used to experiencing the world from eye level and seeing an image shot from a different perspective immediately looks novel because of that. When you are newer to photography, you are probably concentrating quite heavily on getting your camera settings just right and similar things, and it can be easy to overlook things like this, so if you are feeling overwhelmed, don't be afraid to put your camera in an automatic or semiautomatic mode temporarily so you can focus on practicing your composition as well. Check out the video above for the full rundown.
