How to Cull Large Batches of Photos Efficiently and Effectively

Culling photos can be a really tedious and time-consuming process that can be really annoying, especially when you have literally thousands of images to get through. This excellent video tutorial will show you how to quickly and effectively cull photos using Lightroom.

Coming to you from Pye Jirsa from Adorama TV, this great video will show you how to save time when culling photos in Lightroom. Some genres do not generate as many images as others, but if you shoot things like weddings or events, you are surely used to coming home with thousands of images. Culling is definitely my weak spot when it comes to efficiency, and it has taken me a lot of time to get to the point where I do not drive myself crazy or take forever to finish it. Personally, I have found it actually helps to have some sort of tv series or movie on in the background on my second monitor; otherwise, I tend to get a little rundown by the whole process and start to shut down. On the other hand, you might need total concentration for your process. For any repetitive task that requires a lot of time, it is important to set up your working environment in a way that suits you, so do not overlook that aspect! Check out the video above for the full rundown from Jirsa.
