Nine Helpful Photoshop Tips in Just 90 Seconds

Photoshop tricks and tips are like puppies and potato chips: you can never have enough of them. This helpful video will show you nine Photoshop tips and tricks in just 90 seconds.

Coming to you from Nathaniel Dodson of tutvid, this helpful video will show you some tips and tricks you might not have seen before. Of them, I think my personal favorite is taking advantage of the Clone Stamp submenu. As Dodson shows, you can use this to rotate the source for the brush, but you can do so much more with it as well. For example, if you turn on the horizontal mirror, the source will now more in the exact opposite direction of the stamp in its horizontal component while maintaining the same vertical component as the stamp. This is useful for things that are symmetric about a line or point, such as eyes along a nose line. If you want match the tonal gradations moving outward over the face, for example, this is the exact time to take advantage of that feature. And it's not just the Clone Stamp. Taking the time to dive into the submenus of tools can really increase your capabilities. Check out the video above for more neat tips and tricks.
