A Reminder of the Joy of Photography

No doubt, the last few years have been stressful for many of us, and it can be difficult to remember how to destress and find peace and contentment again. Photography should be an escape, however, and this great video reminds us of that.

Coming to you from First Man Photography, this excellent video serves as a good reminder of the importance of enjoying photography. It can be easy to be stressed out by anything from client demands to trying to stand out on social media and the vitriol that can sometimes emerge from the associated din. On the other hand, every person who ever got into photography first did so because they enjoyed the process and the creative process and found the end result fulfilling. Whether professional or amateur, the purity of that pursuit often gets lost at some point along the journey, and you might find yourself wondering why you take your camera out in the first place, or you might avoid it entirely. When that happens, it is worth getting back to basics. Take a walk with your camera and a single lens and no objective in mind, and simply enjoy being outside and photographing whatever captures your eye. Check out the video above for the full rundown.
