Life as a videographer or photographer would be awesome if every shoot and subject had the time and patience to allow us to think through every shot and experiment with our creativity, but that's simply not the way things are. Even if you're not sure how to tackle a project, this helpful video will give you a list of shots that will help you get usable footage.
Coming to you from Sareesh Sudhakaran fof wolfcrow, this video provides a helpful workflow of shots to ensure that you come home with usable footage you can edit into an interesting and cohesive storyline, even if you don't know what that edit will look like when you initially shoot your material. As the video mentions, it's important to have a plan even when you don't know what you're going to encounter, as action can often occur too quickly to formulate a creative vision customized specifically to what's unfolding, and you might only get one chance to capture said action. Though many of the shots might seem unnecessary or even odd at the time, they give you an overabundance (much better than too little) of quality material to work with that you can shape in many ways. Write down the list and keep it in your pocket!

Nice video. It's good to have a plan beforehand and know the purpose or mood you want to set so you have guidelines. Goes for photography as well.
