My favorite location in Lake Tahoe is Bonsai Rock. Stayed up late to get the milky way just above the rock and add a nice leading line. I also used a home made barn door tracker for the stars.

three small rocks in water ruin it for me. And maby little bit moving your self to left would put the big rock straight under the mideel star line(no idea if you get what I'm meaning !?)
