Reason for my 2 vote - Why the tilt?

Love the tilt. Puts the city in the corner in a little point. Unique perspective with great lines. I don’t know why you’re getting twos on this, but I love it. You made it seem surreal by using the angle you did. If people are giving it twos because of that, they clearly have no interest in seeing something creative and just want to see the straight horizon lines. You broke that rule in a great way. I feel like most would have shot this straight on and done the cliche simmetrical shit you see when people shoot a train hard. It was a great way to break the rules. I was lead into the background because of the perspective. Great job. Don’t listen to the photo snobs that beat off to the YouTube channel. Those guys know what they’re talking about, but they also pick at shit only photographers would notice. Plain and simple. Your shot made me stop and really explore The image.

I like the tilt. For me, it's interesting in its own right.

I could see the flip side, the lines lead to something that could be more interesting?

I agree with Alan, tilt added interest for me. Where was this shot?

Greater Toronto Area. These are GO trains, which is public transit for Toronto and the suburbs surrounding it.

I don't know where's the yard, and whether special access would be needed.

It doesn't look like Union Station though.

If the tilt wasn't so severe, I'd probably have thought it was unintentional, but it's quite extreme so it's obvious that you meant to frame it this way. I think it makes for an intriguing shot - I'm a huge railfan & have spent many hours on railpictures.net...this is definitely a much more creative photo than probably 85% or more of all train shots I've seen.

Thank you to all who provided comments. Those who looked closely enough will also notice a movie advertisement that (in retrospect) fits nicely with the composition.
