My first time experimenting with fire trails and long exposure, I soaked 2 rags in Surgical Spirits and secured them on to a broom handle that I spun around myself when it was alight! Generally pleased with the results but going to experiment further with the concept.

I think the fact that your face is hidden takes away from the photo. Without your head it becomes a headless body with light trails.
Understanadble, I was using an 8 second exposure so how would I compensate for the motion blur to get my head in focus?
