I shot this on a Nikon D5200 with the 105mm f/2.8 macro lens. I still feel like this picture was more luck than skill. I was experimenting with a remote speedlight that I had just bought. I was triggering it with my on-camera flash. I kept snapping and snapping at the parade of ants marching by on the orange tree. Somehow, the flashes, the focus, and the shutter all synced, and I got this picture.
