Not sure I'm a huge fan of the processing. It seems a little over saturated and hue is a little strange.
Just my opinion, though!
How could I make this better
I think the actual photo (composition, focus, subject) looks good.
Personally the color saturation and tones seem a little off. The blue in the background is over-saturated (I used to do this myself), and there seems to be a green tint over the whole photo (once again, I've done this too).
To improve it, I'd take more caution with the color sliders.
