While I was in Boulder, CO on vacation I woke up at 3:30am and headed to Rocky Mountain National Park. I saw on my weather app the night before that the park was suppose to have AM rain showers so I was hoping I was going to get some great looking clouds to reflect the color of the sunrise. I waked along the west shore of Bear Lake until I found a place with some cool looking rocks I could use as a foreground element. As I hoped that morning had amazing looking clouds over Longs Peak. Just before sunrise the sky light up red for about 1minute. It was a very beautiful sunrise and I am very thankful I saw it and was able to capture it.
