Very nice scene, but I don't understand the black and white choice. Colors would have brought life to this scene.
Long exposure is good for the moody water - but all above the water line I would taken a short exposure shot and blended it over to avoid the fuzzy trees.
Thank you both for the feedback. Stacking a long and short exposure is a great suggestion. I will definitely give it a try next time I'm out in the nature.
