The Bisti Badlands have always been a location I've wanted to visit. Particularly for it's night photography. I only had 2 quick nights in the Badlands, and all I could think about were clear skies. Luckily both nights provided us with some of the clearest skies for milky way photography and the locations in the badlands provided amazing images.

This is a double shot panorama + blue hour frame. Bottom half of the image was shot during the blue hour for full focus and sharpness. With the second shot being a full milky way shot for the bright night sky.

Shot on the Sony a7r II with the Laowa 15mm f/2.

Ok, I just said that the image of Kenneth Furman is going to win here, but seeing your image, this is 5 stars as well. I think you would deserve the best rated image as well. Awesome shot!

Thanks for the comment!

Magnificent nightscape! The interesting foreground and dreamy milky way sure keep my attention!
