Exploring ice tunnels in the Scott Turner Glacier at Svalbard. Crazy and a bit scary to think of how meltwater and geothermal activity has formed these tunnels and caves. At the bottom of the glacier, the ice is over 1000 years old. Mind-boggling. The tunnels are apparently almost 2 km long, but because of collapsed snow about 500 meters in, we couldn’t go further that day.
