Morning ascent through fresh snow on to the Tomülgrat, Safiental, Switzerland. The sun is rising above the Wisshorn. It is very quiet, all I can hear is the sound of my Splitboard and my breathing. We were ascending around 1200 height meters that day (4000 ft).
The real work is done by the guide in the front. He is pushing through half a meter of fresh snow for another 3 hours. We were the first group doing the ascent.
